“Character Minutes”  encourages teachers to make use of small pockets of time to emphasize the importance of character at work, school, home and in society. • Opening class bell ringers
  • Closing class minutes
  • Employability or soft skill units
  • Student organization meetings
  • Common hour where all teachers emphasize character in one class period
  • Professional development courses
  • Encore classes and student advisement groups
  • Daily classes
  • As well as a variety of other classroom opportunities
